developing skills in presenting work and ideas, customer service, and
managing projects from the initial concept phase though to final
design. I have had experience working independently, in group
environments and under art direction.

2011 Kerry Newson: Premier Piloting
A freelance project for new car piloting brand and business card. I generated
the concept and all creative work, alongside meeting regularly with the client.
2011 Client: Doppel: Angela Vink
I work part-time for Angela on freelance design work and also help
prepare orders for 'The Longest Drink in Town' which Doppel has the
exclusive rights to develop a range of gift products for.
2010 Client: Tilyard Plumbing
A complete rebranding of a local plumbing company. I generated the
concept and all creative work including logo, stationary and van livery
and am currently working on a website. I managed the project from the
initial concept through to the finished product.
2010 Client: Dianne Tippins
I generated a full colour poster to advertise the Stampede Country
Music Festival. The posters were placed locally all around Tuakau
where the Festival was held.

I spent 40 hours in Alts’ studio where I experienced the studio
atmosphere, and worked on photographs for a website, signage,
packaging and created a map illustration for a website. I also went to
printers, print checks, a binding check and even took part in cooking
lunch for 15 people! I really enjoyed my time there, it was a hugely inspiring and beneficial experience to my future as a designer.

Design work for Christmas on Bledisloe Event Design inclusive of design concept, logo, a full and half page advertisement and design and presentation of sponsor and performer certificates.

25 - 40 years old.

The competition was to design a logo, business card and loyalty card
for a popular cafe ‘The Chiller’. The design was presented
professionally to the client and myself and another student both won
the job. However due to timetable commitments the job was passed on
to a design studio and I have updated and changed the design for my
folio to ‘The Mellow Cafe’.
